As is customary with the launch of a new graphics card from Nvidia, this week the company released new GeForce graphics card drivers that update the version to support the newly released card. In this case it was the mainstream Geforce GTX 275 product that gets the treatment.

As usual the new drivers (labeled as version number 182.50) come in Windows XP and Vista flavors, each with 32-bit and 64-bit ports. The release notes go into more detail as to what’s new, changed and fixed. It’s always a wise move to have the latest and greatest graphics drivers installed for your PC. Most notable is word that the new drivers have “Optimized single GPU and SLI support for upcoming PC games.”

The wait is over! Rohan Philippines’ Open Beta Testing (OBT) phase will officially begin on Tuesday, March 24, 2009.

Rohan Philippines’ OBT phase will still have two servers: Torian and Silva. Once OBT is launched, players can either register for a new Rohan account (Available on March 24, 2009) or use their existing accounts from the CBT phase (CBT scratch cards, online registration, mobile). Your Rohan accounts may  be linked to your MyLevel Up! Accounts in order for you to use the account service such as, account linking, change/forget passwords, and as well as the top-up service (Also in March 24, 2009).

The OBT phase will also include the much awaited Item Mall feature of Rohan, for any questions about using the item mall, you may use the Item Mall Guide as your reference. Players may now avail of this service by topping up their accounts to acquire Rohan points (RP).

Rohan points conversion will be 1 Peso = 10 RP (Rohan Points)

Please note also, that OBT will no longer have server wipe-outs. Characters created in OBT will continue on until Rohan’s commercial launch which will be announced on a separate date. Ubisoft has released a some new dlc for PC owners of Far Cry 2. The pack adds three new weapons, two new vehicles and five new multiplayer maps. It’s basically the same DLC that players of the Xbox 360 and PS3 owners got last November. Unfortunately the download is a Steam exclusive (at least for now) and that you have to pay up $4.99 to get the new content.

For those who want to try out the very disappointing sales-wise Unreal Tournament 3, you can now play it through Steam absolutely free this weekend. All you need is a free Steam account.
